 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Â Â Â Â Â Develop Start-up & commissioning schedule
- Â Â Â Â Â Maintain start-up & commissioning scheduleÂ
- Â Â Â Â Â Assist with materials delivery / procurement of MEP items
- Â Â Â Â Master schedule update for MEP subcontractors
- Â Â Â Â Â Handle permitting process related to delegated/deferred permits (i.e. Smoke Control in City/County of Denver)
- Â Â Â Â Â Constructability review of progress drawings
- Â Â Â Â Â Supports MEP observation report corrections
- Â Â Â Â Â Monitor Mech/ Elect subcontractor performance
- Â Â Â Â Â Weekly MEP project observation report
- Â Â Â Â Â Field inspections/ Specification compliance
- Â Â Â Â Â Supports Development QA plan for MEP trades
- Â Â Â Â Â Implements QA program relating to MEP trades
- Â Â Â Â Â Pre-award meeting attendance
- Â Â Â Â Â Weekly MEP coordination meetings
- Â Â Â Â Â Assist in preconstruction efforts and procurement plans for projects, long and short led MEP trades
- Â Â Â Â Â Reviews subcontract agreements and owner contracts
- Â Â Â Â Â Accountable to the project manager for MEP related budgets, costs, and financials
- Â Â Â Â Â Execute essential functions across multiple projects
- Â Â Â Â On-site subcontractor management (if on-site over 20 hours a week)
- Â Â Â Â Mentors and trains direct reports
Assists with:
- Â Â Â Â Â Preplanning efforts in coordination with the Project Manager and Superintendent
- Â Â Â Â Â Creating and maintaining activity projections and weekly planner related to MEP trades
- Â Â Â Â Â Production tracking of MEP subcontractors
- Â Â Â Â Â On-site subcontractor management
- Â Â Â Â Â Confirming as-built drawings maintained
-      Facilitating  3D coordination drawing process
- Â Â Â Â Â Monitoring testing records and reports
- Â Â Â Â Â Preparing and monitoring Mechanical/Electrical submittals
-      Reviewing RFI’s for accuracy prior to submittal
- Â Â Â Â Â Coordination of 3 party commissioning
- Â Â Â Â MEP consultant punch list items
- Â Â Â Â Â Integrated Project Delivery Process
- Â Â Â Â Â Activity projection and weekly planners

 EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required or minimum ten (10) years field experience specific to mechanical/electrical systems
 EXPERIENCE:  Minimum eight (8) – twelve (12) years of general commercial construction experience required, with a focus in MEP systems
 SKILLS
- Â Â Â Â Â Proficient in CMiC
- Â Â Â Â Â Proficient in Bluebeam
- Â Â Â Â Â Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Â Â Â Â 3D model simulation software
- Â Â Â Â Ability to play a key role in the Integrated Project Delivery process
- Â Â Â Â Robust knowledge of design build process
- Â Â Â Â Basic knowledge of reviewing and comprehending contract documents
 CERTIFICATION & LICENSURES REQUIREMENTS
·         OSHA 30 Certification is required
·         OSHA 10
·         CPR/First Aid Certified
·         ICC participating member
