Commercial Roofing Safety Coordinator – Fargo

Our client is seeking a dedicated Commercial Roofing Safety Coordinator to join their team in Fargo, ND. The Safety Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous reinforcement of the company’s safety program and promoting best safety practices for commercial roofing work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ongoing safety training and conduct new hire safety training sessions.
• Perform regular job site safety inspections, including completing reports, photo documentation, and implementing corrective actions.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct monthly safety meetings in our North Dakota operations.
• Coordinate the purchase and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with the Field Operation Manager and Service Managers.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees to maintain a safe and knowledgeable workforce.
• Conduct investigations of property damage and employee accidents.
• Maintain all safety records and monthly reporting.
• Attend and participate in Pre-construction meetings as required.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, reliable, and self-sufficient.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively with other management and staff.
• Availability to respond to emergency situations or employee injuries.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel for job site inspections and safety training.
• Proficiency with computers, smartphones, and other electronic devices.
• Prior experience in leading safety programs preferred.
