Job Description: Product Application Specialist
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire 
Location: Orlando, FL
 
Summary:
We are currently looking for a Product Application Specialist to work for an industry leading manufacturer in the Orlando area. In this role, you will provide ongoing support to field representatives in the HVAC industry to assist in quotes as well as answering technical questions. This is a DIRECT HIRE role that is available immediately.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Provide ongoing, realtime assistance to outside sales representatives and sales managers to support sales activities, including design and equipment selection.
  • Conduct technical and product training to both sales and engineering groups/
  • Develop custom systems for customers and defined by requirements and application, analyzing all facets to ensure the proper design and equipment.
  • Develop quotes for both standard and semi-custom HVAC systems.
  • Communicate directly with customers, engineers, production and sales staff
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred
  • 2+ years experience in the HVAC industry, specifically utilizing selection software
  • AutoCAD experience a plus
  • Background in technical inside sales/support
