Coast Personnel Services is seeking a Machine Operator/Technician for a company in Newark, CA on Day Shift.

Description

Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the associate performs tasks related to the manufacture of membrane for use in commercial projects.  This position is also responsible for the maintenance and operation of the equipment required to accomplish this.  The associate must use laboratory equipment, such as, balances/scales, stir plates, and fume hoods to prepare and dispense solutions for coating membrane.  The associate must also operate the large roll-to-roll equipment used for coating the membrane as well as other larger-scale mixers and other production equipment.  The associate is responsible for collecting and recording relevant data from the operation of that equipment.

 
Requirements

This position requires: A high school education or equivalent GED, ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; basic computer skills (Excel); attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  A minimum of six months prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
